Jeff Currey for Board of Ed?

Okay, so Jeff Currey is running for Board of Education.  First he has to pass thru the Democratic Town Committee nomination process however, does anyone have any comments on this?  Afterall, he is the Mayor’s son and seeking an elected office. Does anyone see a conflict?
